Parkside Hotel & Apartments

Location, size of the rooms, every facility available, the balcony view from my room, staff at reception.

It has nothing to do with the property but when I was booking my stay through booking.com, I was notified that I will get complementary taxi from airport to hotel on arrival however the same was not provided by the hotel. They said it was mentioned by booking.com and hotel does not have any such service.

I had great stay in this hotel. Everything was good: location, spacious room, nice city view from 15th floor, breakfast and of course friendly staff. Special for thanks to Farid, Leyla and Elbrus for your professional attitude to the guests.

Our stay at the parkside hotel was exceptional from comfort to facility everything was topnotch - really enjoyed the view from the 12th floor, suites equiped with everything required Very professional and accommodating staff especially Leyla

The staff are very supportive

There is no parking near the entrance, you need to take your luggage for about 300 meters.The rooms are big enough but design is not good

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! As a solo traveler, I truly appreciated how safe and welcoming the environment felt. The staff, especially Irfan and the rest of the team, were incredibly cooperative and helpful throughout my stay. The location is perfect close to everything yet peaceful and comfortable. room was clean, service was excellent, and overall it felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city!

I didnt have breakfast

Room was no clean. The airconditioner was not heating the room, only was for cooling, and the room was a bit cold.

Great location. Few minutes walk to Nizami street but we loved it here. We were able to stroll to other side of city center.Dont be deceive by the look outside the hotel, as there are mostly shops in the front. But once you step inside the lobby , its really nice. Also our room was huge. Bathroom is spacious.They immediately attend to our issue even if its early in the morning.

The location of the Hotel was nice , easy to reach to other parts of the city. Rooms was having a good view.

The entrance to the hotel was not at all convenient. there were only steps and it was difficult to carry your luggage. The check in staff was not at all professional ( Ewan?), I had to pay some extra for the carelessness of their staff. The Door was not closing properly ( My friend had the same issue which they fixed, but i was hearing the carpenter working on the opposite door for hours.

I have nothing important to complain about. The staff was friendly (but discreet, as I like it) and English speaking, the room was big and fully equipped, everything was functioning, it was clean, bed linen and towels changed in time, the air conditioning functioning for cooling but also for heating (if you understand the logic behind how it works). Breakfast OK as variety. Good positioning, close to the train, Metro and the bus stations to all directions in Baku. A lot of good restaurants (local food, indian, chinese, turkish, italian) in 10 minutes walking range

Small things - for instance the bathtub drain was a bit slow. My room had only a bathtub (no separate shower space) - so if you have mobility problems (I do NOT have), ask before.

We occupied the junior suite for two weeks so we had a very full experience at the Parkside. The room was huge and very pleasant for a long stay, with very comfortable beds and a panoramic view over the bus and train station of 28 May - as well as over to the Flame Towers. The hotel has a very convenient location to use the metro and buses, or walk/taxi to Fountain Square and the old city. The breakfast was full of options and tasty. The room is very quiet at night and good for sleeping. The staff was mostly very agreeable and eager to respond with help, but we sometimes needed to ask for things twice. The managers were especially informative and responsive.

The biggest problem now is parking as well as moving in and out. The hotel lost its parking to the new bus terminal, and (as of now) has not found a good way to handle arrival or departure. It needs a solution. The only parking now is on the street (which is generally available a short block away for modest cost). We were not alerted about this in advance.Payment with a USA-based Visa card did not work, but the manager arranged for a link that did. In most locations around Baku, it works fine and the hotel was working on a fix. Wifi was a problem on the 8th floor, with weak signal. It took a day or so, but the hotel provided a signal extender that offered 5G service not detectable on the regular system. That worked much, much better.Gym needs some upgrading.

The hotel location is superb and very easy to move around. A lot of good restaurants are just within walking distance, and there are plenty of types of food to choose from.Plenty of varieties are served for breakfast by the Hotel and come with lovely city and park views.The airport transfer bus stops right in front of the hotel, which was convenient for us.

We had a very comfortable stay and the staff was very friendly and accommodative along with being quick.

Our junior suite was spacious, clean and well equipped, allowing a fantastic view of the city, parks and sea. Breakfast was varied and satisfying. The location was excellent, with accessibility to various shops, restaurants and parks. Room service was very good, and the food menu was extensive. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

We did not like the attitude of one particular receptionist. We arranged to stay in the rooms till 1:30 with his colleague. He did not believe us, and insisted that we check out at 12:00. I argued with him and asked him to check with his colleague. Eventually the matter was sorted out, but his attitude of disbelieving a guest was annoying and unacceptable. Another point we noticed at breakfast during the last 3 days of our stay is that items were not replaced when finished. There were too many guests who took large amounts, thus finishing most of the display and limiting choice.

The staff is helpful, they try their best to make you feel at home. Their 24 hr kitchen is a great facility, we had a few meals there, loved it. Special shoutout to Bakhtiyar and Murad for their services.
